"...With the debt from the business, a home in another state that we needed to sell, a new home we had just relocated to, several vehicles, and various other consumer debts…we needed financial peace badly..."

My wife and I started a business several years ago. The business started out slow, and as you can imagine we quickly went into debt. Although the business reached a “break even” point quickly, it did not generate enough profit to repay the start up debt. At God’s leading, a accepted a position in the New Orleans area. We then relocated, and eventually exited the business. At the time we knew we were making the right long-term decision, but as we relocated we did so with significant debt. With the debt from the business, a home in another state that we needed to sell, a new home we had just relocated to, several vehicles, and various other consumer debts…we needed financial peace badly. Although God had placed us in a promising new career situation, we were struggling monthly just to make ends meet.

As we moved to New Orleans I started working at the same company as Bill. I had known Bill for several years prior to moving to New Orleans, and I can attest that Bill is a godly man who has a servant’s heart. He is genuinely interested in helping others any way that he can, and has been a real blessing to us. Bill helped us through the process of exiting our former business, and helped us to quickly get on the road to financial peace. After discussing the financial program with Bill, we made a commitment to get out of debt as soon as possible. We have been working on this goal since that time. What a difference a few years makes! Over this time frame we have been able to sell our old home, completely pay off our old business debt, and significantly reduce our other debt. We recently decided to downsize to a smaller home, and we anticipate that doing so will allow us to pay our mortgage off completely within a few years. We highly recommend Bill to anyone looking for financial peace. There is true help (and hope) even in these tough economic times. The godly and biblical principals that are the foundation of this program truly work and can change your life!

"...Bill’s personal testimony of God’s grace and his mercy with us in our money madness was the prescription our marriage needed. No condemnation! I never felt intimidated by my lack of money knowledge…"

The world says…”You’ll always have a car loan.” Pay off your mortgage? Why would you want to do that! That’s the only real tax break we get!” “Credit cards? You have got to have them to purchase online and to make reservations!” My husband and I have always had a budget. The purpose of the budget was to make sure we had enough money in the right places to pay bills. No real plan for that month where you didn’t need the full $250 for utilities. The typical response was, “Yippee! Let’s go out to eat!” Never had we considered our budget as a managing tool.
After our personal coaching from Bill, we realized we were supposed to make our money work for us! Financial Peace has been a money myth builder for us. Bill’s personal testimony of God’s grace and his mercy with us in our money madness was the prescription our marriage needed. No condemnation! I never felt intimidated by my lack of money knowledge…This is a passion and ministry for Bill. Best part? He’s funny too!

"...through Bill’s guidance and with Financial Peace University we were able to get out from under almost $70,000 of unsecured debt..."

We did not always want to hear what Bill proposed we do with our money! But through Bill’s guidance and with Financial Peace University we were able to get out from under almost $70,000 of unsecured debt. Bill’s patient, godly counsel led us through difficult financial decisions. We thank God for Bill’s willingness to share his financial expertise with others (especially us). We are now debt free (except for our house), we are saving 18% of our income for retirement and we’re saving for our children’s college education. Once our kids get through college we’ll start aggressively paying off the house—how exciting! It is with sincere appreciation that we highly recommend Bill Anderson as a financial counselor.

"...in the back of my mind, I wondered what would happen if one of us lost our job. With nothing in savings and roughly $65,000 in unsecured debt, I don’t think we would have made it..."

“On our wedding day, my wife and I already had substantial debt; two student loans and credit cards that were used way too much during our time in school. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, during our first year of marriage through the financing of a new car, furniture, and a house, I began to wonder if we were getting in over our head. We were making ends meet with our professional salaries but in the back of my mind, I wondered what would happen if one of us lost our job. With nothing in savings and roughly $65,000 in unsecured debt, I don’t think we would have made it. Luckily, at about that time, Bill Anderson started to promote the “Financial Peace” program at our church. The program did a wonderful job of getting us to think about money and our relationship with it and with each other. But I would have to say, if it wasn’t for the personal coaching from Bill, the program would not have been near as effective. Bill leads through experience and a Godly heart that cannot be matched by a video or workbook. Bill not only teaches sound biblical financial principles, but he lives it as an example.

Now, after 6 years of marriage, my wife and I are debt free aside from our mortgage, of which we are paying extra on each month. We have an emergency fund just in case, and we are saving for retirement, not only in 401K’s but also in IRA’s.

One of our goals when we got married was to someday take a trip to Ireland and we not only went to Ireland but also to Germany, and we did it all debt free! A personal highlight of the trip for us was mailing a postcard to Bill from the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland thanking him for giving us the guidance to make this incredible trip possible.

On top of our Tithing, we also help fund missions and missionaries over seas. And through that we are truly blessed. Bill has been blessed with the gift of financial counseling and I thank God for his ability to share it.”

“My wife and I came to Bill for financial advice as we began attending his Financial Peace University class. We had a very loose budget and were trying to figure out how to pay off debt for car loans and credit cards. Bill began to guide us through the process of budgeting, and he helped us work on a plan to pay off debt—which we did in about one year! Bill lovingly coached us and held us accountable to our plan, and we can honestly say now that we have no car or credit card debt, and we are saving for our kids college and our retirement! We highly recommend Bill’s ministry to anyone who seriously desires to gain financial freedom.”
